Even Teenagers Can Make Money from Blogging
It is possible to make money from content websites. And not just the garden variety I-made-a-million-dollars-and-I’ll-show-you-how type blog, either. Check out Chloe who operates www.neopetsfanatic.com. She makes $30 per day using Google Adwords… And, she’s only 16.
I first read about Chloe at the web2i.org blog. There is also a youtube video of her speaking at the BlogHer conference. (Chloe at BlogHer). Essentially she runs a content-based site about NeoPets. Initially, she started her site at WordPress.com, but as you can’t post Google AdSense ads on the free WordPress.com site, she changed her domain to NeoPetsFanatic.com and runs the WordPress.org platform.
Chloe’s advice with Google Ads is to make sure the ads blend into your content website. Don’t have them separate and distinct in a box (”I’m an ad!”). Instead, use the same colours, fonts, and font-size of your blog to match your template and visitors will click on the ads.
Bottom line? It is possible to make money from the internet. Even 16 year old teenagers can do it.

this is so real, they can do it and why can’t i? hmm.. i’m trying now.. and i read the 32 things at another post.. i wonder whether i could be like them or not.. still a bit under exposed here.

Hey Peanut. I know what you mean! They make it look so easy, but it’s not. (I mean, look at our numbers. In March, we were starting to make a little bit of money, but overall, we had still lost around $160 from all of our attempts to make money online.
But, live and learn, right? Good luck with your projects.
