Did you recently get that message in your email? Did you leave on our 5 dollar comment contest post or on our Blog Catalog discussion?
Mirjam did… in both places and she won! Here’s what Mirjam and her me myself and i blog won:
- $5 USD paid through paypal.
- A link from this post to her blog.
- Backlinks from the comments that she left (with the link juice turned on)
- CommentLuv pulling up the links to her most recent posts
- And, as one of the top commentators, she’s also getting a direct link from the top commentator plugin. (Not including the 7 links she had from the recent comments plugin)
We’re thinking about some more contests in the future, so stay tuned!
Bottom Line: Mirjam won $5 for doing nothing more than commenting on our blog. How much easier could it get?

Consider that…. apart from the links you just gave me, the mentioning of my blog which will hopefully send some visitors over, you also gave me some extra money to invest.
$5 does not sound like much, but I have flipped it into 5 domains with private registration

godaddy has an offer right now, minimum of 5 new domains get free private registration, .info go at 0.99 right now

Thanks for the generic comment that I imagine you’re leaving around on various blogs. I can’t figure out what’s in it for you. There’s no obvious affiliate link in the link that you left behind. And there’s no website linked to your name, Tammy…

Mirjam – Ah .info domain names. I might go check out GoDaddy now. We always stayed away from anything but .com (and .ca) because we always thought they looked spammy… But I guess if you’re looking to build traffic to your sites, then .info is fine? What do you think?
