WebDiggin.com: An Adventure to Make Money Online

We recently bought Josh Spaulding’s Article Marketing Domination ebook. To be perfectly honest, if we landed on his sales page first, we probably would have run away.

(There’s something about these one pagers with the large-font, bright-colours, and testimonial-photos that just turn me off.)

But, that’s not where we first ran into Josh. Some link, somewhere lead us to his blog. I think it was on link juice and how to improve your pagerank.

• We posted a question about the nofollow tag and he pointed us in the right direction for more information.
• Then, we downloaded his free SEO ebook which streamlined the way we deal with SEO. (A lot of straight-forward information that we now use whenever we post. We tweaked our blogroll to turn off the dripping pagerank.) There’s a link to his article marketing domination ebook, but we passed on it, when we saw that we had to pay for it.
• We asked a few more questions on a bunch of different posts and got some more answers.
• Josh outlined quite clearly in a post how he makes money using article marketing. Then he followed up with an ebook report ($5 formula) outlining the steps he uses to make money from niche websites. So, now we’re following his $5 formula.
• We created our first attempts at a niche website on domain names and tried to post a few articles on ezinearticles.com. I think at this point, we decided to get the article marketing domination book, because if we were going to put the effort into article marketing, we might as well learn from someone who made it work.
• Recently, Josh posted a 20 min video talking about what he’s done to get to this point. What stood out was his philosophy: “I like to give out free information as much as I can.” But he also admitted that he makes around $1000 per month with Google Adsense. I imagine a lot of them comes from driving traffic with article marketing, although he didn’t have exact numbers.

So, we bought Josh Spaulding’s Article Marketing Domination ebook. In fact, after receiving all that information for free from his other ebook reports and his blog, we wanted to give back. Josh had managed to build a relationship with us (although I’m sure we’re too small potatoes to notice.)

Our April resolution is to see if we can get a $5 per day content website running by the end of the month. We’re using the Article Marketing Domination ebook as well as the $5 formula as our gameplan.

We’ve hit some snags, but we’ve found some great resources in addition to Josh’s book.

Bottom Line: We’re following Josh’s ebooks to see if we can get a $5 per day site running by the end of April. Our current goal is to post our article in the article sites every day and see what kind of traffic we can build.
