Win a Free Digital Frame!

We’re trying to find good prizes to give away in our contests. (Our current contest of $5 to leave a comment has only attracted about 10 entries so far.) So we thought, what if we had a real snazzy gift. We’re all bloggers here… maybe something high-tech?
So during our online procrastination to making money online, we came across Digital Frames Direct and their digital photo frames.
What is a digital photo frame, you say? Think computer monitor in a wooden picture frame.
Digital Frames Direct is the largest digital frame wholesaler in the UK. Apparently, digital photo frames make great gifts for family, friends, and colleagues for almost any occasion. But, really, we just want one to give away as a prize.
Their website showcases a number of models. The bottom of the line 7″ Living Images Lumina Photo frame starts at £54.95 (which is just under $110 USD). Just slide in your SD memory card and the JPEG photos scroll away. It doesn’t have video or USB connectivity, but it does have a remote! Is this a cool carrot to get people’s attention for an online contest?
(Their 15″ frame plays video (MPEG) and music (MP3) and can connect directly with your PC. At £169 ($335 USD), it’s out of our price range for prizes. And, as cool as the corporate gifts may be, we’re not really in a position to give those away. )
Why Digital Frames Direct? They’ve got photo frame reviews to ease us into parting with our cash. (Testimonials always give it an edge, don’t they?) They have a 14 day return policy. The only downside is that their website isn’t clear if they ship internationally.
Bottom Line: We’re not getting a lot of people participating in our $5 comment contest. Maybe we need a better prize? (Or maybe, we just need more traffic.)
