Is my Blog Indexed by Google?

I’m developing a beautiful city to journal my quest for a million dollars through online revenue… and it begs the question: are blogs included in Google searches? Do the googlebots scamper through blogger and find the juicy articles? I googled some of my text but couldn’t find my blog yet. (I did, however, find my blogs in technorati.com which makes me wonder who they are…) I just visited Google’s webmaster tools to submit our website… Google asked me to include a meta tag in the template HTML to verify the site, so I did that. I can’t see your average person being able to do it easily, so I wonder if this step was actually necessary to create online cashflow. You know what they say - 20% of your efforts will produce 80% of your results. Am I working in that 20% zone or am I just wasting my time? Still trying to make my first dime.
