At least, that’s the relationship I had to define when I tried to add John’s profile as a contact on mybloglog. I’ve never met the guy, but he recently clicked through WebDiggin.com. I only know him through his website, JohnChow.com, iconic guru status, and love-him-or-hate-him attitude that seems to be prevelant within the make money online blogging community.
A celebrity visitor comes to WebDiggin.com

It’s kind’ve like seeing a glimpse of a celebrity walk out of your store. One day, I opened up WebDiggin.com and saw his pic in the Recent Visitors widget from MyBlogLog.

It’s kind’ve exciting. Maybe he just followed up from a backlink when we mentioned his site on our post about learning SEO best practices from the big guys.

Or, maybe he has a Google Alerts set up to find out when people are saying things about John Chow online.

Doesn’t matter. It’s kind of neat to think of people making the mega bucks as real people. (Actually, kind of neat to think that they might be on facebook, blogcatalog, or mybloglog like you or I)

Who might be passing through your site this moment?

I’ll keep my eye out for ShoeMoney. Or Brad. Maybe, even Angelina. I’m sure all three of them are really into internet marketing.

Bottom Line: New bloggers like me are way to excited by little things like visits from online personalities.

Question: Who’s the most exciting person you’ve ever had visit your site?
