How to Start a Website and Register Domain Names
Some friends were asking what to do to start their website, so we created a mini-site talking about some of the things we’ve learned about domain names:

- How to find a good domain name
- How to find a good registrar, and
- How to point the domain name to your website
Hopefully it saves them time and money, and if it saves other people time and money as well, then mission accomplished.
(Personally, we signed up with BlueHost to run our self-hosted WordPress blog, but our friends can decide for themselves which company they want to go with. We came across several companies that had similar offers to BlueHost that seemed equally good…)
Bottom Line: We put information about how to set up your domain name in a mini-site so that the information was easy to find. (Who wants to wade through hundreds of posts! Just tell me the information right away!)
